ArtAID Honors Casualties of War on Memorial Day, 2005.
NEW YORK CITY-MAY 30. As in years past, ArtAID provides unique designs in service of the memories of those lost in the War on Terrorism. As part of Fleetweek observances in New York City, ArtAID presented the 2005 Memorial Day "Never Forget" tribute containing the names of U.S. armed services men and woman that have made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan (184) and Iraq (1,657) since the beginning of the war as of 12:01 A.M. May, 30, 2005. The work was presented to Rear Admiral Bill McCarthy on the United States Aircraft Carrier J.F.K. |
